Is Nepocore Resume free, including downloads?
Yes. The resume editor, cover-letter workspace and PDF, Word, text and JSON exports have no paid download gate or watermark.
Do I need an account?
The public Cloudflare site has no application account requirement. A separate private working preview may require ChatGPT sign-in.
How many templates are available?
There are 24 original templates, with single-column, sidebar, balanced, student, creative, professional and academic starting layouts.
Does it use a remote AI model?
No. Writing tools use local patterns and checks. They can help with wording, but do not research your history or create verified achievements.
Where does my resume go?
Document editing and imports run in your browser. The builder does not publish your resume or upload it to a resume-storage server.
Will my work survive a refresh?
Session-only work can be lost. Enable Save on this device deliberately or download a JSON backup before leaving.
Is device saving the same as cloud sync?
No. It uses local storage in this browser profile. It does not automatically transfer your work to another device and is not an encrypted vault.
Can I add a photo?
Yes. The Photo workspace provides upload, crop, zoom, rotation, position, frame and size controls. Follow the recipient’s instructions when deciding whether to include it.
Can I import an existing resume?
You can import supported text-based PDF, DOCX, text and Nepocore JSON files. Review the draft carefully; scans are not transcribed and original layouts are not reproduced exactly.
Will a template pass every ATS?
No universal compatibility or interview outcome is guaranteed. Use readable headings, real text, accurate evidence and the file type requested by the employer.
Is the job match result a hiring score?
No. It is local keyword overlap against the job description you paste. It does not connect to an employer’s applicant tracking system or assess eligibility.
Can I change the layout and sections?
Yes. Change fonts, colour, margins, spacing, A4 or Letter size, section order, visibility and custom sections in the editor.
Does the builder translate my resume?
No. It offers five section-heading languages. Your experience and other content must be written or translated separately.
Why can Word look different from the preview?
Word applications and fonts can reflow the document. Longer resumes use a simpler editable Word layout. Inspect the exact file before sending.
How do I report an issue without sharing private data?
Send the page, browser and reproduction steps to [email protected]. Use fictional resume content in screenshots or attachments.
